Clough has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Engineering Team in Perth! Reporting to the Chief Electrical Engineer , this role is required to provide electrical engineering support and expertise to current and upcoming project and tenders .

Your focus will include:
R eview ing and approv ing the work from other engineers
Liais ing with other disciplines
Liais ing with the Client and their engineering personnel
Liais ing with Vendors
Liais ing with other project functions
You will have k nowledge in the following areas:
H V Distribution and Switchboard design for power generation and power distribution systems on facilities
LV Switchgear/MCC design for power distribution systems
Transformer sizing, selection and specification for power distribution systems
LV electrical motors and Electrical drives
Packaged equipment
Earthing and lightning protection design
Classification of hazardous areas and design/ selection of equipment for hazardous area use
What you will bring to the team:
Proven experience in a similar role within t he energy, mining and or utilities market sectors .
Exposure to EPC type lump sum and reimbursable projects
Your ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team will ensure your success in this role
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
Hazardous area knowledge and competency is preferred
