Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer - Renewables

Purpose of the Position: As a key member of the engineering team, you will deliver renewable energy engineering services throughout all project phases, including concept design, detailed design, technical due diligence, construction oversight, commissioning, and operations and maintenance. You will also engage in grid connection, SCADA, and project advisory services as required.
Key Responsibilities: Lead solar farm concept design and yield calculations using PVsyst.Serve as the Owner's Engineer for solar and BESS projects.Coordinate engineering activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Develop and review technical specifications and performance guarantees.Conduct technical due diligence and support compliance activities.Collaborate closely with grid connection and commissioning teams.Engage with clients and participate in business development initiatives.Prepare proposals and contribute to project development and reporting.Identify and resolve issues proactively, seeking assistance when needed.Participate in internal review meetings and other duties as directed.Qualifications: Essential: Degree in Electrical Engineering.5+ years of experience in renewable energy engineering.Desirable: Membership or application for Engineers Australia (EA) and RPEQ.Experience and Skills: Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, BESS).Familiarity with the Australian national electricity network is a plus.Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.Independent and proactive approach to work.Personal Qualities: Commitment to delivering high-quality results for internal and external stakeholders.Strong professionalism, effective communication, and personal integrity.Ability to consult and build sustainable relationships with clients and stakeholders.Problem-solving mindset and willingness to seek support when needed.Relationships: You will work under the guidance of the Head of Engineering, receiving ongoing support for your professional development.
