Due to a significant and ongoing increase in investment in renewable energy across Australia, FortEng are working to expand our team. We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join our team based out of our Hobart office in Rosny Park.
FortEng is an Engineering Consultancy with a focus on Power & Energy Systems. We have offices in Brisbane and Hobart, and our clients include Power Utilities (Generators, Transmission NSPs and Distribution NSPs), large industrials, mines, rail, and renewable energy developers. We work with our clients to help with new and existing electrical infrastructure providing HV/EHV design solutions and field testing for compliance, certification and investigations.

Positive attitude, willingness to learn and a good team member.
Electrical Engineering degree (Member of Engineers Australia or eligible for membership as professional engineer)
Minimum 5+ years' experience in HV/EHV design
Experience with specialised electrical engineering software packages
Experience in field testing would be well regarded
Self-motivated with a strong desire and ability to acquire technical and business knowledge/skills
Project management experience in electrical infrastructure projects
Right to work in Australia
