We are hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer immediately to help us power progress for our customers. All locations in Australia, ideally Perth.

What You'll Do:

Lead and Mentor: Guide and develop the electrical engineering team, ensuring alignment with project goals and company standards.
Design and Engineering: Oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems for mining and power generation projects, ensuring compliance with Australian standards.
Project Leadership: Manage electrical engineering aspects of projects from concept through commissioning, collaborating with other disciplines and stakeholders.
Simulation and Analysis: Utilize tools like PowerFactory and CDEGS to model and optimise electrical systems, ensuring robust performance.
Safety Compliance: Implement safety standards and risk management practices to ensure all designs and installations are secure and compliant.
Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, delivering technical presentations and reports.

You'll Have the Following Skills and Experience:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master's degree or Chartered Professional Engineer certification is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in electrical design for mining and power generation, with a strong understanding of Australian standards.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in HV substation design, earthing studies, and simulation tools like PowerFactory and CDEGS.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients and stakeholders.
