We are passionate about tackling the complex and sophisticated challenges of the built environment and delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to create accessible, resilient and liveable communities.What you'll do Provide technical expertise in electrical design and documentation for a diverse range of multi-disciplinary projects spanning Property & Buildings, Defence, Healthcare, Education, and Infrastructure.Engage in the planning and design of building and infrastructure projects, producing reports, design calculations, drawings, and specifications.Utilize industry-standard software such as Revit MEP, PowerCAD, and AGI/Dialux for LV system modeling.Ensure the delivery of best practices and optimal outcomes for clients, emphasizing cost and time savings.Take the lead on small to medium-sized engineering design projects while supporting larger initiatives.Communicate effectively with all external and internal stakeholders and project teamsContribute to the development of the business unit against strategic goalsAbout you Recognised degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentChartered status, or working towards one, an advantageSoftware proficiency in Revit MEP, PowerCAD, and AGI/Dialux, an advantageProven consulting/design project experience in the building services sector utilising Australian building codes and standards;Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to forge strong client and stakeholder relationshipsA track record of effectively handling competing priorities, prioritising work and meeting tight deadlinesRegistration (or eligibility for registration) in the professional engineer register of the relevant state for the building/construction industry, an advantageAbout WSP WSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services consulting firms, bringing together approximately 5,000 talented people across 14 offices in Australia.
