When you join Interior Engineering, you're joining a Company dedicated to fostering an open and nurturing environment focused on continuous learning and empowering you to achieve better than your expectations.Work on a variety of different projectsRegular training opportunitiesCompetitive remuneration packageOpportunities for project leadership and client managementOpportunities for working from homeThe RoleAs a senior member of our dynamic and forward-thinking electrical services team, you will be responsible for providing efficient and innovative design solutions for various building services projects.Your responsibilities will include:Preparation of accurate and detailed electrical (power and lighting), communications, and security design solutionsPreparation of contract documentation for tendering and construction purposesManaging design projects from concept through to completion including consultation with all members of the design teamAttending site to inspect existing services and review construction worksLiaising with equipment Suppliers and ManufacturersResearching new products, standards, and design practices to ensure the Company remains up-to-date with the latest building services technologyConducting peer reviews and assisting with junior engineer training and development.Skills and Experience:Our ideal candidate will:Be degree qualified from a tertiary institution recognised in Australia (B Eng Electrical or equivalent)Have an existing presence in the Brisbane market.Have a minimum of six (6) years previous experience working with an engineering consultancy or relevant contracting company in building services in the Brisbane market.Have RPEQ qualifications.
Certification qualifications in other states would be an advantage.Have sound knowledge of the BCA and Australian StandardsHave experience managing multi-disciplinary projects.Be proficient at driving and carry a C class licenseHave proven written and verbal communication skills and sound problem-solving skillsHave the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environmentHave the ability to adapt seamlessly to change within the workplaceYou must have the rights to work in Australia and be based in BrisbaneTo apply for this position, please submit a cover letter and CV.
