Experience:
Knowledge and working experience working in a BI, reporting and analysis role.
Hands-on experience in SQL development for data modeling and data analytics.
Experience with transforming, cleansing, and managing large datasets from engineering assets.
Ability to translate business requirements into effective analysis and reporting.
Working experience in the energy and utility sector.
Knowledge of the maintenance and replacement programs related to utilities.
Familiarity with asset management systems and engineering data hierarchies.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline such as Electrical, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
Provides reliable and actionable insights/recommendations on investments and maintenance programs to optimize the balance of cost, risk, and performance on its network assets.
Ensures continuous improvement of existing datasets and algorithms for capital and operating expenditure optimization.
Develops strategies and procedures relating to performance for all assets across the asset lifecycle, including KPI development.
Supports Enterprise Asset Management Software migration project, mapping existing reports, applying new data transformations, migrating reports from Power BI Report Server to Online.
Identifies and addresses potential issues before they escalate.
Takes initiative to propose and implement effective solutions.
Contributes to high quality, reusable, and maintainable solutions for transforming, cleansing, and managing large datasets from engineering sources.
