As a key member of the education services team, you will be responsible for leading, directing, coordinating and supporting the state wide service delivery for the educational programs, ensuring stakeholders and contractual requirements are in line with business objectives.
This position sits in the TAFE Queensland English Language and Literacy Services (TELLS) business unit and reports to the Manager, Education Services. 
This is a Temporary Full-Time opportunity effective 1 July 2024 through to 27 June 2025. Whilst the role is primarily based at the South Bank campus, you may be required to travel across the Brisbane Region.
Key Responsibilities Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the established values of Safety First, Working Together, Focussing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative. Provide high level professional leadership and advice on the delivery of the AMEP and SEE educational programs state wide to a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring contractual compliance and maintenance of key performance indicators. Lead best practice through facilitation of state wide Communities of Practice forums including innovation, digital literacy and educational quality and monitor their effectiveness. Develop and implement state wide frameworks to monitor educational quality, continuous improvement and contractual compliance is achieved. Ensure client assessment utilises prescribed methodologies and that counselling, educational placement and referral services are responsive to eligible client needs. Identify, develop and facilitate professional development across the state to assist with the delivery of the educational programs and contractual requirements. Build strong, constructive and collaborative working relationships with key internal stakeholders, to ensure continuous improvements in educational services and best practice are achieved. Engage with external stakeholders to build relationships and foster the growth, development and promotion of quality educational services to the community to meet client and market needs. Communicate across extensive internal and external networks and agencies, including Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse communities, to raise awareness of and access to TELLS programs. Represent TELLS and TAFE Queensland at various stakeholder and network meetings and events to foster, promote and ensure contractual compliance of the educational programs is achieved. Analyse and report on all aspects of the educational programs to senior management, including providing recommendations for resolution of issues and methods for continuous improvement. Undertake project management planning and analysis and provide advice and recommendations for continuous improvement on the delivery of educational programs managed by TELLS. Contribute to the preparation of reports and tenders. Undertake other duties as directed. How you will be assessed The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in service delivery, contract management, advice and strategies of adult education and training. Demonstrated ability to provide advice and input in the development of new, innovative and cost effective teaching methodologies to adapt to emerging and changing needs of the educational market. High level knowledge of adult education and training service delivery and strategies for a diverse range of clients. Proven experience in building and sustaining productive internal and external stakeholder relationships, and working collaboratively to foster a positive and cohesive work environment.  High level communication, negotiation, influencing and listening skills in a culturally, linguistic and socially economic environment.  Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements Undergraduate degree and a post graduate qualification in TESOL or Adult Literacy and Numeracy Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview. Highly Desirable Requirements: Understanding of project management methodologies.
