Senior Education Officer, Sector Education - Various Positions About the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) was formed on 1 January 2019. The role of the Commission is to protect and enhance the safety, health, wellbeing and quality of life of people receiving aged care. The Commission is the national end-to-end regulator of aged care services and the primary point of contact for older Australians and providers in relation to quality and safety. The Sector Education team is responsible for the development of effective educational resources for the aged care sector including providers, workers and older people receiving care. Our educational activities aim to assist the sector with building a strong understanding of regulatory operations and good practice. About the Senior Education Officer role (Role 1) As a Senior Education Officer within the Sector Education team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of project work. You will develop, coordinate, deliver and ensure quality control of a range of education products and programs for aged care providers, older people and their representatives. Senior Education Officer Position Duties Product design and development: Leads the design, development and delivery of effective learning solutions and programs from conception to release. Project Management: Contributes to leading the delivery of the Commission's program of education activities and services. Quality assurance and improvement: Undertakes quality improvement activities, including review and evaluation of education outcomes. Reporting: Collates, records and reports on education/learning activities and outcomes. Positive working relationships: Works collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders. Senior Education Officer Position Eligibility Requirements (Selection Criteria) : Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles. Experience in instructional design and development of online and blended learning products. Experience in leading the design, development and delivery of educational resources. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to develop productive working relationships. Experience in the facilitation of educative workshops. About the Senior Education Officer - Facilitated Solutions role (Role 2) As a Senior Education Officer – Facilitated Solutions, you will lead the design, development and facilitation of interactive sessions. Demonstrated ability to develop productive working relationships. Position Notes: Salary offered will be between $92,970 - $104,883 per annum depending on skills and experience.
