Senior Ecologist – Field Work Focus

If you're a Senior Ecologist who enjoys fieldwork, this position is for you! You will spend 2 weeks at a time in the field near Brisbane, managing a variety of field-based projects.
Project Examples:
5-year implementation program for a locally endangered bird, including long-term monitoring and managing offset sites.
Offsets, impact assessments, rehabilitation, and mitigation stages with long-term monitoring.
Wind farming projects involving offsets, management plans, and bird and bat surveys.
Transport and main roads projects, focusing on upgrades and local work.
Rehab program compliance monitoring with complex logistics and safety requirements.
Lifestyle / Balance:
This consultancy provides a good work-from-home balance for senior staff, with 2 days per week WFH. Graduates work full-time in the office for development purposes. Flexibility increases with seniority.
Many staff members work from the office regularly due to enjoying the social aspect and the people they work with. The company supports WFH with integrated technology.
