We work with emergency services and telecommunications carriers to protect communications assets during emergencies and natural disasters. NSWTA is a delivery agency with responsibility for over $1.5 billion in key NSW Government projects that connect communities and support emergency services.
We lead and coordinate a whole-of-government connectivity strategy to bridge the digital divide and help keep people and places safe. About the role: This role contributes to the enhancement of PSN services to other Government Agencies through major programs like CCEP (Critical Communications Enhancement Program), ESPN, MBSP, and other strategic and tactical projects that NSWTA delivers from time to time to keep the people and communities safe across NSW.
Your day-to-day: Produces detailed design specifications to form the basis for the construction of systems.Reviews, verifies, and improves own designs against specifications.Investigates and resolves system-wide fault conditions using a wide range of diagnostic tools and techniques.To be successful in this role you will demonstrate: A collaborative and consultative approach to your work.Demonstrated capabilities as a lead engineer in dealing with complex technical issues.An analytical thinker and problem solver.Act as a subject matter expert.Train and mentor non-technical people within the organization on technical matters.What we need from you: An up-to-date CV and a brief cover letter outlining how your skills and experience are aligned to the role.
