Reporting to our Front Office Manager, the Senior Duty Manager will oversee all aspects of Front Office operations including reception, guest relations, reservations, and telephones during shifts, while ensuring the delivery of unparalleled guest experiences.In this role you will:Oversee the seamless operation of the hotel, maintaining our reputation as a market leader in personalized, customer-focused service within the hotel locality.Drive the achievement of the hotel's key performance indicators (KPIs) related to RPS, NPS, Loyalty, and room upselling.Ensure the effective operation of the night audit function in coordination with the Financial Controller, ensuring accuracy while maintaining guest satisfaction.Supervise the handling of VIPs and special guests, ensuring their needs are met and loyalty is upheld.QualificationsTo be successful in this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate competence in the following areas:Extensive Hotel Front Office Experience: Demonstrated experience in a senior Front Office leadership role.Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven leadership capabilities, effective team collaboration, and exceptional communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong critical thinking abilities and a guest-centric approach to creating memorable guest experiences.Comprehensive Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of Brisbane, especially South Brisbane, with the ability to recommend attractions and activities.Flexible Availability: Willingness to work various shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.Please note:Only candidates with valid Australian working rights will be considered for this position, as we are unable to offer sponsorship at this time.Additional InformationWhat is in it for you?Join an award-winning team that thinks outside the box!Fun and friendly work environment.
