Due to the ongoing success of our Victorian operations, our Bridges, Aviation & Roads team have a need for additional Drainage Engineering capability to join our dynamic Melbourne office. It is a great opportunity for a high performer to step into design leadership roles on Major Transport Projects in Victoria.

What you'll do:Undertake surface water drainage and cross drainage design for roads, rail and civil projectsUnderstanding of pavement and subsurface drainage design for roads and civil projectsUndertake design, and model water quality measures for roads and civil projectsLiaise with drafters for the production of the design drawingsPrepare drainage design reportsAssist in developing less experienced engineers in a collaborative team environment.About YouYou will have:
Bachelor or Masters' level degree in Civil Engineering (four year degree)Prior experience as a Senior Drainage Engineer (5+ years of experience)Proven recent Australian experience drainage design for major transport projectsCPEng or equivalent industry recognition will be an advantageRail Industry Worker accreditation is desirableYou will have a good understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic modelling packages used in the design of road drainage, cross drainage and flood analysis, and ancillary drainage items such as scour protection and water quality controlProficiency in 12D for drainage design and analysis, is highly desirable, and experience in packages such as HECRAS, MUSIC, TuFlow would be advantageousA desire to develop skills and use Bentley SUDA for drainage design and analysisAbout WSPWSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services firms, bringing together approximately 6,000 talented people across 15 offices in Australia.
