In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to prepare accurate drawings within specified timeframes in line with the customer's requests, Council regulations, Building Codes and company standards. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:Accurate preparation of draft sales plans and working drawings that incorporates house siting's, floor plans, elevations, internal drawings, plumbing and slab layouts and facade details.Interacting with multiple internal stakeholders including building design sales consultants, estimators, colour selection consultants and compliance teams.Production of working construction drawings including reviews and corrections for the developer and council approval.Problem solving construction and drafting related matters.Providing suggestions for improvements to processes.About youTo be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of Brighton and NEX Group along with:Experience working in a residential home construction environment.Minimum of 3 years producing drawings.Understanding of the related construction practices.Knowledge of all current codes and regulations including The Queensland Development Code (QDC) Including Small Lot Code, Regional Council Planning Schemes, Developer Guidelines and Developer Plan of Developments (POD).Ideally with proficiency in a 3D drawing program (Ideally ArchiCAD).A keen eye for detail and attention to accuracy with demonstrated interpersonal skills.Organisational ability and initiative.Demonstrate an innovative approach to solving problems.Interested?The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening and depending on the inherent requirements of the role, may involve the completion of a National Police Check and pre-employment medical.Apply today!If you are determined to make a difference and want to join an innovative and inclusive organisation committed to building better futures, click on the APPLY button.
