With offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, and a team of over 180 professionals—including engineers, scientists, and technicians—we are committed to excellence in every project we undertake.About the Role:We are looking for a Senior Structural Draftsperson to join our team to assist in delivering residential and commercial projects.Your Key Responsibilities will be:Detail-Oriented Documentation: Produce detailed documentation under the guidance of our skilled engineers, adhering to Australian Standards, council, and NCC requirements.Efficient Delivery: Manage and deliver assigned tasks in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner.System Management: Utilise and maintain systems to ensure top-notch service delivery.Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.As the ideal candidate you will have:Proven Experience: At least 2 years of drafting experience in commercial swimming pools and residential/commercial structural engineering in Australia.Hydraulics Know-How: Experience in hydraulics to enhance our diverse projects.Relevant Qualifications: Your educational background that supports your drafting expertise.Time Management Skills: Ability to work under time and quality constraints effectively.Communication Proficiency: Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with our team.Team Player Attitude: Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.Tech Savvy: Proficient knowledge of the latest versions of AutoCAD software (Revit knowledge is a plus!).What we can offer you:Ability to purchase additional annual leaveProfessional Memberships paid for by the companyService Recognition AwardsProfessional development program - We are proactive in engaging our staff with on the job internal and external trainingAccess to our Employee Assistance Program: A free service that includes counselling for you and your immediate family membersA role in an established consultancy which has significant growth targeted in strategic plansIf you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your resume and cover letter (outlining how your skills and attributes makes you suitable for this role) by email to ****** Consulting Engineers (part of the FMG Engineering business) is an equal-opportunity employer.
