Headquartered in Sydney with growing operations in Perth, Novalith is backed by global venture capital funds and the team has grown significantly in the last 12 months.As part of the next stage of its growth, Novalith is building a demonstration plant in Western Australia along with other projects and require a seasoned Document Controller to own these activities as required to ensure an on-time, successful delivery of the project.Key responsibilities include:Delivery of technically acceptable document control services to ensure the development of high levels of client satisfaction and Novalith's business needs.Interfacing with document control and incoming documents from outside companies, logging and distributing these to nominated internal Novalith team members.Managing the document control system by setting up projects and systems to manage documents.Document control database creation, management and maintenance.Coordinating the review, revision system, checking and approval process for deliverables internally and for external documents requiring review.Issuing transmittals, distributing, recording and tracking documents to external parties.Identify any missing information / simple mistakes on documents/drawings if needed and advised by project managers.Expediting documents both internally and externally.Ensure successful stakeholder engagement and people management and strong contract, commercial and financial risk management throughout the project lifecycle.You will:Be an established Document Controller looking to further your career in an impact role within a clean-tech start-up environment.Have a clear drive to achieve quality outcomes and have demonstrated success in a similar role - we are interested in your skill base and potential, not the size of your past projects.Be self-driven and confident in your ability to work with varying levels of seniority to ensure document control systems are set-up and adhered to.Ideal experience required:5 + years' experience as a document controller gained in the engineering industry - ideally in chemical/process engineering.Strong experience managing, developing and improving the use of a Document Management system.Possess a proven ability to successfully communicate and influence across all levels of the organisation.A can-do attitude with a passion to accelerate the transition to a sustainable and electrified future.Why join Novalith?Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to work with a talented team of entrepreneurs and innovators.Make a significant impact on the growth and success of a start-up company.Discounted private health insurance and retail shopping benefits, recognition programs, and more!Meaningful investment towards career development from internal and external providers.Opportunity to gain further lithium battery supply chain experience.We encourage applications from all backgrounds, communities, and abilities, and are committed to having a team that is made up of diverse skills, and experiences.
