You could be one of our 2700 committed team members who are up to the challenge.About the roleAs the Senior Document Controller, you will play a key role in contributing to the success of V/Line's Business Information Solutions division.
Reporting to the Information Governance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the business-as-usual administration of V/Line's policy and procedure database and enhancing the management of these documents.Key Accountabilities include: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and the Information Governance Team to ensure all documents meet compliance standards and are effectively maintained.Gain proficiency with the V/Line controlled document platform and standards, ensuring documents are in the correct formatting and presentation.Oversee the entire document lifecycle, including uploading, revising, approving, withdrawing, and archiving documents.Ensure the document control system operates efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and data integrity.Provide high-quality document control services to enhance organisational efficiency.Review compliance with document control policies and suggest improvements to enhance system effectiveness.
About youThis role is ideal for someone with roughly three years of experience in document control.
You will leverage your relevant experience to support the Information Governance Team's business-as-usual requirements and actively contribute to team projects and initiatives as needed.Our ideal candidate will possess the following: You have a background in a document control or document management role, ideally within a government setting, and a qualification in Business Administration or Document Management is a plus.You pay close attention to detail and understand industry terminology.You communicate clearly and effectively, value confidentiality, and work well with stakeholders.You manage your time well, plan and prioritise tasks efficiently, and can work both independently and as part of a team.You are proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems is beneficial.Demonstrated alignment with V/Line's values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.
