Our services include Bulk Earthworks, Deep Foundation, Asbestos Removal, Shoring Systems, Demolition and Contaminated Site Management.Situated with the corporate structure of the Allam Group, Ace Civil works with a number of associated corporate entities within the building and construction industry including, Ace Demolition & Excavation Pty Ltd, Ace Piling Pty Ltd and Allam Development Pty Ltd. The Allam Group is a large-scale employer in the building and construction industry and has management of a numerous construction projects. We have experienced unprecedented growth in recent years with an increase in annual turnover with an employment opportunities.Key tasks and responsibilities of the role:• Determining methods of construction on projects and selecting materials for construction and ensuring construction quality standards;• Drafting and interpreting construction specifications, including producing drawings, plans, methods of construction and procedural methods;• Preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications;• Preparing, editing and revising plans, maps, charts and drawings;• Design and construct piling and shoring structures including Foundation Piles, Shoring Piles, Contiguous Piles and Anchors, Capping Beams, Whalers and Shotcrete Walls;• Organising and directing site labour, including delivery of construction materials and establishing detailed programs for the coordination of site activities;• Conducting construction site inspections, including quality assessments;• Analysing architectural and engineering drawings and specifications to estimate total costs and preparing detailed cost plans and estimates as means of assisting in budgetary control;• Monitoring changes to construction designs, determining their effects on cost estimates and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs;• Analysing and assessing structural systems for both static and dynamic loads;• Detailing design for earthworks;• Working on defects and sign offs;• Conducting quality assurance, HSE and Environmental;• Working with construction safety teams to ensure safe work site;• Inspect civil structures such as Footings, Lift Pits, OSD Tanks, Piles and other in-ground structures, to ensure construction to specifications prior to concrete installation. Undertaking as a minimum, the following material submissions, testing and inspections:- Submission and approval of grout mix design for anchors;- Submission and approval of concrete mix designs;- Inspection of drilled pile;- Inspection of constructed pile;- Inspection of first shotcrete panel for suitability.Key skills and experience required:- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering;- Minimum two years of demonstrated operational experience in civil projects;- Proficiency in the English language;- Excellent communication – both written and verbal;- Strong understanding of workplace OHS procedures;- Demonstrated competency in risk management for supervisors.We currently have a full-time Civil Engineer vacancy and the salary level on offer for the position is $80,000.00 per annum plus superannuation.Applicants must provide their current CV and a covering letter outlining their skills and experience and indicating whether they are Australian Citizens or permanent residents and confirm their authority to work in Australia.
Established in 2020 Ruski Engineering Design Pty Ltd (Ruski) specialises in the design of custom industrial equipment specialising in lifting and materials handling equipment, plant, mobile and fixed access platforms and mechanical testing. Core services include 3D Scanning, mechanical and structural design, drafting and reverse engineering. We have secured a range of projects and work with clients including BHP, Newmont, Karara Mining, Rio Tinto.We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our small and growing team, with 3D scanning experience, to contribute to the business. This role is a full-time permanent position based in Kewdale, Western Australia.Responsibilities:• Assisting the engineering team in designing mechanical and structural equipment to meet customer specifications and/or Australian standards.• Consult and engage with stakeholders directly to finalise scope of work.• Working with stakeholders and engineering team to develop a solution through conceptual and detailed engineering design using 3D modelling and scanning techniques and software (including but not limited to Microstation, SolidWorks, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and ReCap Pro).• Produce structural drawings including fabrication shop detailing, design and drafting services, and laser cutting.• Designing and analysing industrial equipment specifically in lifting, access platforms and mechanical and structural plants.• Undertaking 3D scanning tasks.• Client site visits; measure, concept and detailed designs, delivering fabrication drawings.• Perform structural analysis in Space Gass and hand calculations.• Work within project deadlines and budgets.• Manage a portfolio of projects.• Provide timely feedback to management on project progress.• Provide support and technical assistance to customers/fabricators on design issues or queries. Including, updating and modifying existing designs and/or drawings if required.Mandatory Requirements:• Tertiary education in Civil Engineering.• At least 2 years' experience as a Civil Engineer.• Minimum 1 years' experience with structural analysis software including Space Gass.• Minimum 1 years' experience in Solidworks software.• Minimum 1 year experience in Microstation, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and ReCap Pro.• Experience with 3D Scanning, processing and modelling is essential.• Minimum 1 year experience in Geomagic Suite software Wrap and ControlX.• Minimum 1 year experience in 3D Scan point cloud processing (Faro Scene 2019 above or similar).Attributes:• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Strong knowledge of Australian standards and steel fabrication• A high attention to detail is essential and passion for excellence• Strong project management skills and ability to manage project stakeholders• Self-motivated• Honest, displays integrity and reliabilityThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team, who share strong values and team spirit, in a dynamic environment.
