Senior Disability Support Worker - Service Response2 x 12mth Fixed Term, Full-time ContractsSCHADS 3.1 $35.99/hr + tax savings + leave entitlements7 day roster between 6am to 8pm, Gold Coast LocationsCPL are looking for experienced direct support workers to work in the CPL Serviceâ¯Response Team (SRT).â¯This team is in place to support the Shift Fill team with quality client shift coverage where vacancies arise across the Gold Coast region at short notice. We provide a range of services to people with disability, aging people or people with chronic health conditions.
Roster SRT operates Monday to Sunday with these full-time roles working morning or afternoon shifts between the hours of 6.00 am to 8.00 pm. Each SRT DSW will be rostered to 7-8hr shifts across the fortnight with 4 RDO's scheduled to ensure every second weekend off. 
As a member of the Service Response Team, you will be responsive to dispatches from the shift fill team to attend shifts and support CPL clients by completing all or part of their support shift or manage an unscheduled call for assistance.â¯Most shifts will be related to support provided at home. 
Services include:  Assistance with transfers and mobility Dressing and self-care support Continence Assistance Medication administration assistance Selection criteria includes:  Ability to use diverse types of hoists and mobility aids.Provide safe meal-time assistance to people with swallowing difficulties.Administer medication and implement care plans.Be able to use communication devices and assistive technology.Respond positively to challenging behaviours and restrictive practices.Provide personal care while treating the client with dignity and respect.Follow CPL SLAM principles and WHS strategies.Develop your understanding of individual client requirements,Promote the delivery quality supports. Current open C class driving license.NDIS Clearance and blue card.First Aid / CPR certificate.Leave loading, Annual leave and Personal leave benefits.SCHADS3.1 $35.99/hrSalary packaging benefits; approx $5000/yr in tax savings.Access to a mobile phone.Access to an office, workstation and a computer.Access to a CPL fleet vehicle for client support.Opportunity to build your skills/career.Applications to close by Friday 4th August 2023, thanks.
