We're looking for people who have a minimum 2 years of experience as a Disability Support Worker, ideally in Community and Recreation. You'll share Yooralla'svaluesand have:
Experience working with group based activities (Hubs, Recreation, Community Access) Experience leading teams Experience with BOCs, Meal Assistance and Manual Handling A positive approach, initiative and self-motivation Willingness to be committed to empowering our clients to reach their goals, and to upholding quality and safeguards in your everyday work Availability to work between 9:30am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday Effective communication skills, and good English literacy to communicate well with our clients Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team Willingness to support clients with personal care activities Australian Driver Licence Current Working with Children check or the ability to obtain one The right to work in Australia, and The ability to get a First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate if you don't already have one. A Certificate IV in Disability or other relevant qualification is highly desirable.
You will be subject to NDIS Worker Screening.
