Details: WorkSafe ACT is a fully independent office headed by the Work Health and Safety Commissioner. WorkSafe ACT achieves its objectives through a combination of compliance and enforcement, awareness raising, education, inspection, and investigation.
WorkSafe ACT is seeking an experienced senior leader to temporarily fill the position of Senior Director, Strategy. This multifaceted and dynamic position holds great significance in driving the achievement of various critical objectives within the agency. You will be an important part of the Senior Leadership Team.
As part of your responsibilities, you will oversee the agency's strategy and policy development, data functions and strategic coordination delivery. Your leadership skills are critical to guide the Strategy team towards success through efficient planning, prioritisation of tasks, identification of risks, and collaboration with the executive and senior leadership teams.
To excel in this position, the successful candidate must possess exceptional policy, project and/or program management skills, including expertise in governance and strategic planning within a regulatory environment. Experience in work health and safety and/or workers' compensation would be highly beneficial.
