Senior Director, Procurement and Purchasing
Full-time Permanent Details: The Justice and Community Safety Directorate has a number of exciting permanent and temporary procurement opportunities available across the Directorate including in the ACT Emergency Services Agency, ACT Courts and Tribunal and ACT Corrective Services.
If you have procurement and contract management skills and experience and are confident in providing advice on, and ensuring compliance with the procurement lifecycle, in accordance with relevant legislation, these opportunities may be for you.
The Senior Director, Procurement and Purchasing is responsible for leading and managing a small team in the delivery and undertaking of procurement activities across the ACT Emergency Services Agency.
The Senior Director will provide guidance and assistance on complex procurement cases with a view to ensuring compliance under the Government Procurement Act 2001 (ACT), Government Procurement Regulations 2007 (ACT) and relevant policies and procedures.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
Relevant experience in the Public Sector at local, state, or federal level is highly desirable.
Extensive experience and qualifications in procurement and contract management is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in financial/procurement systems is highly desirable.
Background/Security clearance checks will be conducted.
Driver's Licence Class C is essential.
This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.
