Details:
The People Cases team is responsible for employee relations, HR business partnering, injury management, and injury prevention functions.
The team provides solutions-focused complex HR advice and support to business units across JACS through the delivery of reactive and proactive business partnering.
As a subject matter expert, you will manage a small team working across the employee relations and injury management portfolios.
Responsibilities:
Lead the team to enable positive outcomes for the Directorate in managing workplace behaviours, misconduct matters, workplace grievances, and providing specialist advice related to employment frameworks.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Qualifications in, or extensive experience in human resources or industrial relations are highly desirable.
Notes:
An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
Please note, this position is in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW).
Under ABW arrangements, officers do not have a designated workstation/desk.
Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, a combination of working from home, designated office-based, and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, and flexible start and finish times.
