Details: Are you someone who enjoys seeing data used to inform and support evidence-informed decision making? Do you enjoy working collaboratively with all stakeholders? Can you work at a fast pace and give supportive direction to multidisciplinary teams consisting of data analysts, statistical modellers, as well as data governance and data management professionals? Then we want to hear from you!
An exciting opportunity has opened up in ACT Health's Data Analytics Branch to lead a set of high performing multidisciplinary teams responsible for governance, forecasting, analysis, reporting and briefing. The Branch is looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, skilled, and engaging professional who will play a key role in its senior leadership team.
Strong written and stakeholder negotiation skills will be central to this role, based on a highly developed understanding of the health data ecosystem. A confident understanding of data governance and data management policies, procedures, and frameworks will underpin your ability to rapidly analyse requests and responses based on risk and will enable you to represent the Directorate and the Territory on local and national data committees.
