Senior Director, Acat Operations Full-Time Temporary

The ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal (ACAT) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person to perform the role of Senior Director, ACAT Operations. This position is a member of the ACAT senior leadership team and is responsible for delivering high quality registry and administration services to support the work of the ACAT.
The position involves the strategic leadership of the registry, overseeing the delivery of operational and corporate priorities, human resources management, client services and stakeholder management and engagement. The position cultivates the development of organisational capability and responsiveness; and works with others to ensure the development of new procedures in response to continuous improvement, technological and legislative change. The Senior Director also oversees the delivery of a range of services on behalf of the ACAT, including data collection and reporting, facilities and security management, and finance and budget. The Senior Director provides high level advice and support to the ACAT Registrar and ACAT Members.
The person we are looking for will be an independent, proactive, and resilient leader, who can guide the organisation in a demanding operational environment. The successful candidate is a calming presence during a crisis and focuses on the solution to the problem. The candidate has a well-developed ability to think critically and strategically about the work we do and is passionate about service delivery improvements.

Notes: This is a temporary position available from 21 August 2024 to 08 October 2024. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next six months.
