APS6 $92,970 - $104,883 Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart, Melbourne About the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) was formed on 1 January 2019.
The role of the Commission is to protect and enhance the safety, health, wellbeing and quality of life of people receiving aged care.
The Commission is the national end-to-end regulator of aged care services and the primary point of contact for consumers and providers in relation to quality and safety.
Our vision is to support a world-class aged care system driven by empowered consumers who enjoy the best possible quality of life.
We aim to build confidence and trust in aged care, empower consumers, promote best practice service provision, promote quality standards and hold providers to account for their performance against the expected standards of care.
We seek to promote an aged care system that develops safer systems of care, inculcates a culture of safety and quality, and learns from mistakes, while providing the oversight that can assure the community that aged care services are operating as they should, including working on continuous improvement.
About the Team The purpose of Business Systems Section is to design, develop, and maintain technology solutions that streamline and support the Commission's core business processes, operations, and objectives, by partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver systems that enhance decision-making, collaboration, and customer service.
The role of the Digital Applications Management Team within the Business Systems Section is to oversee the ongoing operation, maintenance, and optimisation of digital applications that support the Commission's business functions, through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.
We are seeking a Senior Digital Analyst to work within the Digital Applications Management team to assist with the support and implementation of innovative technology and business systems that improve management of the regulatory work of the Commission.
You will have skills in understanding and applying innovative technology solutions broadly.
This includes designing, analysing and documenting functional specifications to meet business expectations.
About the Role The Senior Digital Analyst is responsible for the design and configuration of functional solutions for new and existing Digital applications.
They may assist with optimising existing systems and processes, or design new systems to meet user needs.
They are responsible for translating business needs into ICT system requirements and specifications for enhancements.
This includes designing, analysing and documenting functional specifications to meet business expectations.
Including collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement customizations to enhance the functionality and usability of our Digital Tool Kits and Power Platform, working closely with the content creators and with the Product Development Team.
Position Duties Undertake process development activities, including human workflow and system process workflow.
Analyse, test and evaluate in-process products, and final products.
Develop gap analysis with leaders and identify improvement opportunities and initiatives.
Contribute to the achievement of project objectives and priorities through the development of project artefacts.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and ascertain their expectations in relation the Commission's direction, structure and requirements to ensure the delivery of quality products.
Effectively present information that is easily consumable by the end user, using appropriate tools and communication channels and communicating with influence when providing advice and recommendations based on expertise and experience.
Position Eligibility Requirements (Selection Criteria): To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following: Good process writing, planning and scheduling skills to support project workstreams to a successful outcome, and in some cases, support systems implementation through process documentation.
Knowledge of Lean methodology or similar discipline.
Demonstrated experience in mapping, business process improvement / redesign.
Demonstrated MS Office 365 skills including MS Project, Visio and Share Point.
Familiarity with systems development and project management tools (Azure Dev Ops highly regarded).
Good organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to finalise tasks in a timely manner.
Demonstrated well developed verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage competing priorities.
Display sound judgement in challenging environments; the ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.
Capability to innovate and solve problems, including the ability to leverage opportunities.
Position Notes: Salary offered will be between $92,970 - $104,883 per annum depending on skills and experience.
In addition, 15.4% superannuation will be paid.
