About the program AIR6500 is the RAAF's $3 billion program to develop a joint air battle management system that builds on the capabilities offered by Next Generation sensor and command and control systems.
AIR6500 will create a fully networked 'system of systems' that synchronises air and missile defence operations in joint and coalition environments, maximising situational awareness and enhancing the speed of decision making across the battlespace.
Your responsibilities will include: In this role, you will Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice and guidance to the team as they perform the following activities: Contribute to the building of CI/CD and Dev Ops infrastructure to support automated testing and deployment for AIR6500 Contribute to automation of administration and deployment of hardware engineering tools such as Altair and Ansys Contribute to automation of administration and deployment of the IBM CLM/ELM tool suite (DOORS Next, Rhapsody, ETM, etc) Contribute to automation and maintenance of business processes Monitor and maintain the health of supporting Dev Ops infrastructure like container orchestration, build agents, monitoring tools and dashboards Contribute to the administration and maintenance of Dev Sec Ops controlled hosts About you: To be successful in the role you will have sound knowledge of IBM CLM/ELM tool suite (DOORS Next, Rhapsody, ETM, etc) and sound knowledge and experience with administration and deployment of hardware engineering tools such as Altair and Ansys, along with; Demonstrated experience working within an agile framework.
Impressive knowledge and experience with Software Configuration Management/repository Tools such as Git Lab and Nexus Significant knowledge and experience with the Atlassian tools suite such as Jira and Confluence Sound grasp of automation tools and scripting to build deployment applications Knowledge and experience with deploying and maintaining Cyber security tooling Special Requirements: Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-instatable NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
