About the role We're looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract!
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for the operation and management of our cloud-based environments, working closely with the Engineering and Product teams to implement solutions and resolve issues.
You'll serve as the AWS subject matter expert, overseeing continuous build and deployment pipelines for both applications and infrastructure assets, while maintaining infrastructure-as-code assets. You'll enhance instrumentation and monitoring, manage development tools such as source control and CI/CD platforms, and oversee cloud database storage platforms.
You'll also ensure information security by refining policies and procedures, track cloud expenditure, propose cost reduction initiatives, and manage system access requests. Additionally, you'll provide strategic advice to improve our systems architecture, focusing on cloud capabilities, operations, and costs.
