The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to provide a critical role within Technology Solutions & Data Security About the Business Unit Technology Solutions and Data Security is delivering the Data and Digital Reform Agenda, which focuses on meeting the departments data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes.
About the Role Technology Services explores and employs technology to enable the department's business to function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services.
It supports enterprise-wide platforms and services including critical applications, networks, telecommunication, call centres, hosting, intranet/internet sites; delivers business and corporate funded project; and oversees the delivering of services provided by technology service providers such as Cenitex.
Some of your duties will include: * Provide expertise in the design and implementation of the Programs DevOps capabilities to instantiate the CI/CD architecture and infrastructure required.
* Collaborate with cross platform teams and vendors to develop a DevOps capability * Ensure effective management of everything from source code management to CI/CD pipelines with integrated test automation, deployment and release, bringing multiple teams and platforms together in a controlled and well managed DevOps pipeline.

About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Technical Expertise * Strong experience with the core AWS services (e.g.
EC2, RDS, ELB, EBD, S3, VPC, Glacier, IAM, ECS, EKS) and server less approaches using AWS Lambda to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution.
* Strong experience in orchestration, CI/CD and configuration management tools preferably with Azure DevOps * Strong Experience working with Kubernetes and other Container technologies like Docker * Experience with Linux/Unix, windows administration, system monitoring tools (e.g.
Splunk, Dynatrace etc.)
* Experience in Azure Cloud with exposure to Azure Entra.
