ABOUT THE POSITION. As a Senior Development Engineer, you will be accessing and providing technical advice on the engineering aspects of preliminary assessments and development proposals. In this position, you will assist the Manager of Development Assessment and Regulation by participating in a business transformation model to achieve cultural change and succeed in accomplishing agreed service delivery outcomes.
DUTIES.
Assess and provide technical advice on the engineering aspects of preliminary assessments and development proposals. Undertake civil certification inspections of applications and issues with respect to Water Supply and Sewer Processing end-to-end approval activities and works including engineering conditions for water and sewer. Responding to customer enquiries in relation to development engineering matters. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Prior experience as a Development Engineer in Local Government is highly desirable. Proven knowledge of Local Government Act, Roads Act & Environmental Planning Act. Proficient experience using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and TechOne. CULTURE.
