Our planning and compliance team plays a critical role in ensuring developments adhere to planning laws, preserving the character of our area, and meeting the needs of residents and businesses.About this opportunity:As a Senior Development Compliance Officer (SDCO), you will lead the management and resolution of complex development compliance cases, collaborating with internal teams, developers, and the community. You will oversee investigations into planning control breaches, provide expert advice, and contribute to maintaining high standards across the Mackay area. In this role, you will offer technical and practical expertise on development compliance matters, administer and enforce development-related legislation, and provide guidance on compliance issues.
