Our Development Assessment team is seeking a Senior Development Advisory Officer.

About the role: The successful candidate will enjoy giving high quality strategic and statutory planning advice to customers including reviewing and advising on pre-development applications, assessing development related applications to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and planning provisions and delivering excellent customer experience.
The role also offers the opportunity to undertake assessment of Development Applications, section 4.55 modification applications and section 8.2 review applications, as well as appearing as an Expert Witness in the Land and Environment Court.

building surveying, construction management, etc).Minimum of 3 years of extensive experience in the assessment of complex planning matters.Good knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and other relevant environmental and planning legislation.Strong communication skills and ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships.Awareness of and commitment to the principles of quality customer services and experience.Current and valid Class C Australian Drivers Licence.If you are passionate about development assessment, have strong technical knowledge and skills and want to be part of our goal focused team, then we would love to hear from you!
