Responsibilities Include:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the health, performance, and security of our SQL Server databases.
Your responsibilities will include: Addressing issues related to database availability and data integrity, and actively monitoring database performance. Utilising strong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot performance challenges. Managing user permissions for security, implementing upgrades and patches, and optimising SQL queries and database structures for maximum efficiency. Collaborating with development teams to support application deployment, along with participation in capacity planning and data migration efforts. Designing and implementing business intelligence solutions by developing, maintaining, and optimising complex stored procedures, views, and functions. Working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions using SSRS and Power BI. Performing ETL processes using T-SQL, SSIS, and ensuring data quality and consistency across the data warehouse and data marts. About You: The ideal applicant is someone who: Has strong communication skills. Has a strong focus on customer engagement. Has the ability to bring a high level of collaboration skills to the team.
