Senior DeveloperLocation – Sydney
9 months contract role
Pay rate – up to $840 + super per day
DFP Recruitment is seeking a Senior developer for our state government client. The role involves delivering web-based solutions with modern technologies and working closely with the business and project teams to ensure sufficient development resources are available and effectively applied to application development projects, while adhering to development practices, standards, and techniques.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for front end through to back-end integration development requiring interaction with users and logic, working with varying browsers and capabilities, understanding the way content is presented on platform desktops and devices, and having knowledge of frameworks, software architecture, design patterns, databases, APIs, and DevOps to ensure intuitive and responsive interfaces.Identify areas of software process improvement to enhance the organisation's development capability and to create a better experience for the end users.Lead the interaction and collaboration with teams in technical discussions, design, and code reviews.Determine local and team-based standards for programming tools and techniques, providing advice and guidance for their use to ensure compliance with standards and maintain the quality of developed applications.Work autonomously in developing usable Application Program Interfaces (APIs) to facilitate interaction between distinct solution delivery systems.Participate in product configuration, performance tuning, testing, and production monitoring, ensuring sufficient development resources are available to meet projected demands from the business.Deliver feasibility and cost-benefit analysis, including choice of application architecture to enhance the overall application development process and provide foundational services and API gateways to enable future business functionality.Participate in an agile development process, utilizing industry-standard tools for issue tracking, version control, and code deployment.Monitor and report on the progress of development projects ensuring that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed architecture, standards, methods, and procedures.Demonstrate a genuine commitment to safety excellence and safety leadership, including setting health and safety expectations and promoting compliance with safety systems and procedures.Key ChallengesMaintaining scope and results focus within a business environment undertaking a range of significant initiatives.Managing consultation and negotiation with diverse stakeholders, within agreed timelines, given their varying expectations, viewpoints, and interests.Improving real-time information access; streamlining processes, accessing information more efficiently, transferring data and information across multiple platforms.To ApplyIf this sounds like the role for you, please submit an updated copy of your resume in MS Word format by hitting APPLY NOW or contact Deepika at ******.
