About the opportunity We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Senior Developer to be responsible for oversight of the design, development, and implementation of system solutions across Energy Safe Victoria.
You will contribute by: Developing and maintaining Energy Safe's digital platforms, delivery methodology and standards aligned with digital delivery best practice.Providing technology and platform product leadership in areas of technical feasibility, product best use, system interfaces and other relevant considerations in relation to Energy Safe's delivery portfolio.Providing efficient analysis and resolution of reported problems in Energy Safe's digital platforms within established service level requirements.Managing upgrades, administration, and configuration of digital platforms for production, test and development environments.Contributing to Energy Safe's digital platform support frameworks, methodologies, and procedures.Continually evaluating the use of business systems within Energy Safe to identify and recommend opportunities to leverage platform products enabling business improvement.Preparing professional reports and briefing papers on projects and other activities.Negotiating, evaluating, and managing vendor relationships and performance against defined service measures and quality criteria.To be successful, you'll have: Relevant tertiary qualifications in technology, information management, computer science or engineering.Significant experience in a similar role in a project or delivery team environment.Demonstrable team leadership and influencing skills, including managing and developing team members within an environment of ongoing technological changes and progress.Technical expertise in the administration, management and use of business systems, including Microsoft SQL Server administration to support data merges, data structuring and data migrations.Experience in supporting Business Intelligence (Tableau or Power BI), Geospatial systems, Business Process Management (Pega preferred) and CRMS (Microsoft Dynamics).Strong culture building skills including the ability to build high performing teams through coaching and performance development.Well-developed incident and analytical problem-solving skills and experience in providing advice and guidance to resolve issues and introduce improvements.Proven experience in strategic planning, reporting and proposal development for technology systems under management.Exceptional communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.How to applyPlease refer to the available position description to assess your suitability and submit your current resume and cover letter via the Apply button.
