Senior Desktop Officer

Role Details The Senior Desktop Officer is responsible for the coordination, administration and management of effective operational ICT services to DPC. The Senior Desktop Officer is responsible for provisioning and end-to-end facilitation of the Mobile and End User Computing (EUC) desktop support services. The Senior Desktop Officer provides technical mentoring and subject matter expertise to the first and second level support, providing leadership and quality assurance for day-to-day operations.
Special Conditions The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program. The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent. Some work outside of normal hours will be required. Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required. This role requires a National Criminal History check. About the Business ICT Services ensures the smooth operation of the ICT services within the department. The group plans, directs, coordinates and designs ICT-related activities, as well as providing management and support for daily operational activities including the management and delivery of service support and service delivery.
