Through the power of the moustache, we spark conversations and inspire action in men's health, tackling prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention.About the roleWe're seeking a technically skilled and creative Senior Designer to join our in-house creative team at Movember. As a Senior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our irreverent, subversive, progressive brand to life through your designs. Reporting to the Head of Studio, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Creative to execute compelling visual assets that drive engagement, raise awareness, and support our fundraising efforts. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful campaigns and initiatives while supporting Movember's day-to-day efforts.Responsibilities include:Take creative briefs from the marketing, communications and content teams and deliver never-boring designs across various mediums and formats, including digital, print and experiential.Take prioritisation and jobs from the Head of Studio, fulfilling the requirements of creative briefs to deadline.Work closely with the Head of Studio to ensure the creative expectations of the brief at hand are managed with the relevant stakeholders.Be comfortable translating marketing project, communications and content objectives into clear and motivating creative concepts, ideas and visuals that align with Movember's brand strategy.Collaborate with the Head of Creative to develop and execute creative concepts.Assist with the proofing of work by others in the team and external suppliers, ensuring deliverables effectively address brief goals and adhere to Movember's brand guidelines, leaning on the Head of Creative for support when required.Make final recommendations on the use of photographs, videography, audio, artwork, and graphics across the business.Act as a key approver in certain creative outputs from the Studio team.Alongside the Head of Brand and Head of Creative, be a champion for all visual identity work, supporting on the necessary development (or redevelopment) of brand and subbrand guidelines (including style and language guides).Support the Head of Creative in the creative execution of new Movember subbrands.Present, or oversee presentation of concepts and art to senior internal stakeholders, communicating a compelling rationale for the proposed direction and showcasing examples of how ideas will work in-situ based on the needs of the brief.Art direct, inspire and motivate other creatives on the teamFor this role, you'll need:Several years of design experience.Some experience leading creatives (specifically designers).Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives.Experienced presenter of creative concepts to senior-level clients.Knowledge and passion of pop culture and counterculture – we're not your average corporate charity.Proven experience with concept development.Understanding and experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, but also understand offline and print.Strong understanding of industry trends and creative tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.Ability to work strategically and manage relationships across a variety of backgrounds including creative agencies, creative freelancers, marketing directors, senior leaders, and men's health subject matter experts.High attention to detail with strong proof-reading skills.Prior project management experience, with a focus on brand identity or art direction.Our employee benefits include:Flexible hybrid working from home and our modern Richmond officeFinish work at 2pm on Fridays (Dec-Aug)NFP salary packaging (pay less tax)13 weeks paid parental leave and 5 weeks annual leaveFun & collaborative culture with employee social eventsFree Headspace subscription and other wellbeing initiativesRelaxed dress codeDoes this role sound up your alley?If so, we'd love to hear from you.
