Join the Civmec TeamCivmec's newest division, Balanced Machines, designs the next generation of balanced machines providing materials handling solutions for mining companies across Australia. Our machines are designed, fabricated, assembled, and tested at our state-of-art Henderson facility. Option to be based either out of our Henderson or CBD Office.
We are now seeking an experienced Senior Designer to join this expanding team of professional Balanced Machine Engineers. You will enjoy a full project scope of work including design, engineering, execution, and final completion for our clients.
Exciting projects.Great salary package.Be part of a company investing in local growth.Development opportunities.The RoleParticipate in studies, conceptual designs, estimate preparation and design reviews;Review the project scope and Technical Brief and apply the design criteria and methodologies outlined in the engineering of the project;Prepare, Review and Mark-up 3D Models and Drawings with due consideration of safety, operability, simplicity and cost minimisation;Identify project scope or design changes, or other issues which could adversely affect project cost or schedule;Ensure project documents, data and information are correctly sourced, reviewed, managed and available;Assist in the preparation of proposals as required;Assist in the development of system and procedures to facilitate engineering design methods;About YouTertiary qualifications in Structural, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.5+ years' design/engineering experience in a relevant industry.Proficient knowledge of PTC Creo.Able to coach and train less experienced personnel in technical matters.Good knowledge of the company's engineering tools and be able to create deliverables with these tools.Experience with Creo software (preferred).Able to design integrated systems.Civmec + YouAt Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a 'Never Assume' culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
