Senior Designer/Drafter

Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy) You will enhance the newly acquired laboratory's engineering team by providing, design and drafting of the company's pilot plants, laboratory equipment, and associated infrastructure.Our client:A NYSE listed, highly successful business, focused on the development of revolutionary minerals processing technology. They are a modern metals company creating value across the battery metals supply chain, supported by the newly acquired laboratory and engineering company.The role:On behalf of the client, we are seeking a Senior Designer/Drafter to be responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings, encompassing structural, mechanical, and piping systems using 2D and 3D software.Key Responsibilities:Prepare general arrangement and fabrication detail drawings.Create process and instrumentation diagrams and process flow diagrams.Refine process designs and trouble shoot for optimal performance.Provide technical support.Maintain accurate records for design revisions and equipment specifications.Support the business with additional task and responsibilities as required.To be successful you will possess:A full understanding of the design/drafting processPractical hands-on experience and the ability to work on the shop floor is needed.Demonstrated experience in process plant layout and design. Extensive experience with Autodesk 3D and 2D software.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.Unfortunately, MPI are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia and whom are currently in Australia.Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
