An opportunity now exists for a Senior Design Manager to join our Development Team to design and deliver our growing pipeline of developments nationally.
The Role: You will provide professional expertise in the development of architectural design work to ensure the delivery of architectural services within agreed timeframe and budgetary parameters and in compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
Provide professional architectural expertise and support in the development of the design brief, specific project design work.Support the development manager and project manager, by providing design advice, review and solutions.Frequent interactions with the site construction team, supporting projects from construction commencement until practical completion.Ensuring design input and management of consultant's design development of place, product and village is consistent with and/or exceeds business expectation.Ensuring delivery of architectural services are customer centric, within agreed timeframe and budgetary parameters and in compliance with all guidelines, standards and procedures.Review and respond promptly on value engineering opportunities submitted, ensuring standards are upheld and delivery of product is best practice.Live the Keyton core values and encourage demonstrating these values.The Candidate: Relevant tertiary qualifications in an architectural related discipline, ideally with strong construction industry experience.Understands good construction practice and has the ability to resolve construction issues or respond to builder queries promptly with clear instruction.Experience in working on design and development projects with an emphasis on the production and preparation of details/guidelines/specifications.Experience in development projects.
