Senior Design Manager

Tier 2 builder Role focused on Pre-Construction Strong pipeline of work
Our are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Design Manager to join their growing construction team.


As a Senior Design Manager, you will be focus on Pre-Construction and have strong client liaison skills as most projects are negotiated/ECI. You will have a strong buildability and methodology skillset.



Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the pre-construction design activities across multiple construction projects Collaborate with clients, project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the project will run timely and cost-effective Review project specifications and contracts to identify design requirements and constraints Advise on project design schedules and budgets Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and applicable regulations Advise on buildability and methodology Monitor project progress and update senior management on key milestones and potential issues Identify and resolve design-related issues and escalate issues to senior management as needed Ensure that project design records and documents are accurate and up-to-date Provide regular updates to senior management on project design status, including potential risks and opportunities Manage the design process, including design development, design review, and design approval Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management or engineering 8 + years of experience in design management in the construction industry Experience working on largescale construction project from $30m upwards Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of construction project management tools and software Understanding of construction contracts and regulatory requirements Familiarity with building codes and standards Benefits and perks: Market competitive Salary and excellent working environment Collaborative and values-based workplace culture Sporting and Social events Professional Memberships If you are looking to add value to a busy, growing Tier 2 builder please get in touch with Alex Mitchell: /
