About the job: The Senior Design Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and, as a senior team member, will provide technical advice on all PERI's products and is expected to take responsibility and to authenticate (sign) their design work and the work of others they review.
Your responsibilities:

Provide the design of formwork, shoring and scaffolding solutions using PERI products in accordance with PERI guidelines and practices, as well as Australian/New Zealand standards, whilst maintaining efficient and effective use of time.
Provide technical advice on all PERI products to customers and associate PERI employees.
Ensure work is carried out safely and following workplace health and safety, quality rules and country regulations. Actively promote the supply of leading technical service and leadership by example.
Develop an understanding of PERI's products and Technical design strategies.
Assist the Engineering Manager with the everyday running of the department, including but not limited to reviewing designs, assigning workload, and recruiting and developing technical staff.

Your profile: We are seeking a qualified engineer with CPEng and/or RPEQ accreditation. These credentials are essential for ensuring the candidate meets professional engineering standards and can contribute effectively to our team's success. Ability to liaise with people at all levels from diverse cultural backgrounds. A depth of experience in a similar role, working with all aspects of Formwork, Falsework and scaffolding designs. Experience in management and staff development (desirable for senior design role). Highly skilled at coaching and mentoring engineers and developing team dynamics.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships. Ability to work in a team and has a positive working attitude. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Don't miss this opportunity, Apply Now!
