Provide effective solutions to technical challenges through strong technical competence, effectively examining implications of events and issues.Research new materials and competitive products.
Organize, coordinate, and execute the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes.Develop and document functional requirements and translate into detail design documents and technical reports.Develop project scopes to address business challenges and opportunities.Oversee project progress and costs; communicate status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; address and resolve problems.Integrate with resources across the business with sales and marketing, product development groups, value chain and manufacturing.Participate in buy-build analysis for product components and support proposal preparation and cost estimates.
Degree Requirement
Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum, or 10 years of direct professional experience in lieu of degree.

Coaches other team members to develop and excel in their engineering and technical fields.Products and Services: Knowledge of major products and services and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.
Evaluates feedback from customers and consults on functional weaknesses.
