About the role The Senior DERMs Engineer will lead the registration, validation, and testing of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) onto Jemena DERMs systems. The Engineer will ensure connections fit the requirements of the connection process and will participate within the customer connections workflow taking ownership of connections processing onto the Jemena DERMs. The Engineer will drive the continuous improvement of DER processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities include Communication with internal & external stakeholdersTechnology and process review and Jemena Stabilisation strategyWorking with Customer Teams, Asset Management and DigitalContinuous improvement of the systems and processing of DER connectionsEnsuring connections to Jemena DERMs systems meet requirements of the connection processParticipation in Customer workflows is collaborative and meets KPIsAbout You Strong understanding of electricity distribution network topology and the configuration management of SCADA, AMI and DERMsStrong understanding of the Common Smart Inverter Profile (CSIP-Aus)Distribution Electricity industry background is preferred, in a hands-on OT roleDERMs background and experienceAsset connection/commissioning CSIP-AUS inverters onto DERMs applicationConfiguration management of an OT systemCertificate registrationOur people are our energy source and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
