The role includes the coordination, management, ethics reporting, recruitment, volunteer scheduling, collection of data and documentation of information and analysis required for this clinical trial, which will examine ways to modify the melanoma tumour microenvironment to reduce recurrence after nodal metastasis. This includes actively leading and contributing to research activities, contributing to designing research protocols, undertaking critical aspects of research work including formation of analysis and key findings.Your key responsibilities will be to:provide project management for the clinical research program including project planning, tracking, implementing and reportingsupport the chief investigator/supervisor in the development of the research project's objectivestake a lead role in the collection of research data and collaborate to prepare initial analyses and insights for inclusion in preliminary reportsundertake complex research and prepare analyses on key areas of focus, under broad guidance of the Chief Investigator and in collaboration with other senior research staffsource information, research and prepare drafts for research publications and presentations including preparing literature reviews and carrying out theoretical research to support overall research objectivescultivate a culture of research excellence, ensuring the team is empowered with the latest knowledge and supportundertake ad-hoc projects and other activities.About youthe suitable applicant will have a medical qualification with current Australian medical registration, and post-graduate experience in general medicineexperience in developing and working on research projects in the relevant field of work, including expertise in using research protocols and experimental designpossess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with day-to-day operational mattershaving experience working with health services or relevant training, education or experience in clinical dermatology or related fieldspostgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience.To keep our community safe, please be aware of our COVID safety precautions which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaWork Rights: you must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
