About the role This role is suitable for a dentist with clinical experience looking for a career opportunity in leading clinical service provision in a small regional centre, including mentoring of junior clinicians.
The Oral Health Service in Western NSW Local Health District provides free dental care to eligible patients in Western NSW and has a supportive and friendly culture. The Mudgee Community Dental Clinic is a modern 5-chair facility located within Mudgee Health Service.
The clinic provides outpatient care to eligible patients, support to inpatients, and treatment as required under general anaesthetic. In addition, outreach services are provided to smaller rural communities in both fixed and mobile clinics. Care is also provided by final year dentistry and oral health therapy students on clinical placement.
