The Oral Health Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Dental Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your Opportunity
The role of Dental Assistant Team Leader is a dual role which supports the Mackay Oral Health Service by providing leadership, management, and support to the Oral Health team under the guidance of the Senior District Dental Assistant. Although the majority of this role will be Team Leadership, assisting in the clinics is still a requirement of this position.
About the Team
Mackay Oral Health has permanent clinics in Mackay, Proserpine, and Bowen with outreach services to Sarina, Collinsville, and Clermont. All clinics have recently been refurbished with modern equipment and adhere to strict standards. We are a training facility for James Cook University with final year dental student placements in Mackay and Proserpine. We deliver high-quality services to eligible adult patients as well as school children through school dental services.
