L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty Division is seeking a highly motivated Senior Demand and Supply Planner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal flow of our products from manufacturing to our valued customers, contributing directly to the success of brands like La Roche-Posay, CeraVe, Vichy and SkinCeuticals.
ABOUT THE JOBDevelop and maintain robust statistical forecasts for a portfolio of products within the Dermatological Beauty Division.Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to integrate market intelligence, promotional activities, and new product launches into the demand plan.Analyse historical data, trends, and market dynamics to identify risks and opportunities, recommending adjustments to optimize forecast accuracy.Proactively identify and assess risks and opportunities to the demand plan and propose mitigation strategies.Supply Planning:Partner with our global manufacturing facilities and logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective production and delivery of products.Analyse inventory levels, lead times, and capacity constraints to develop and execute a robust supply plan that meets demand while optimizing inventory levels and costs.Proactively identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, including material shortages, production delays, and transportation disruptions.Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and implement solutions that enhance supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.Collaboration & Communication:Act as the primary point of contact for all demand and supply-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.Build strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners, fostering a culture of shared ownership and accountability.Lead monthly demand review meetings, presenting forecast performance, insights, and action plans to senior management.Proactively communicate potential supply chain disruptions or risks and propose solutions to mitigate impacts.Performance Analysis & Reporting:Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and in full delivery.Prepare and present regular reports to management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities within the demand and supply planning processes.Identify areas for continuous improvement and lead initiatives to optimize planning processes and tools.ABOUT YOU3+ years of proven experience in demand and/or supply planning, preferably within the cosmetics or consumer goods industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make sound business recommendations.Proficiency in demand planning and forecasting software, as well as ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.ABOUT THE DIVISIONL'Oréal Australia's Operations includes our Warehouse, Customer Care, Master Data and Supply Chain teams.
