We are looking to engage the services of an experienced Senior Delivery Manager for Reason group to work with our Federal Government Clients. Successful candidates must be Australian citizens currently residing in Australia, with a preference for having an active AGSVA security clearance.
About the Role: -
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team in ACT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in successfully delivering complex IT implementation projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Your experience in agile project management will be instrumental in optimizing workflows, enhancing efficiency, and delivering solutions that exceed client expectations.
Here are some of the duties you will perform-
Lead IT Projects: Oversee end-to-end delivery of IT implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and contractual obligations.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
Team Management: Mentor and manage a team of project managers and technical professionals, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor Progress: Track project progress, risks, and issues, proactively identifying and implementing mitigation strategies to achieve project goals.
Drive Excellence: Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status updates and performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards throughout project execution.
Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of escalation for project-related issues, resolving conflicts and challenges in a timely and professional manner.
What makes you a great fit?
Proven track record of success as a Delivery Manager or in a similar senior role, specifically managing and delivering IT implementation projects.
Extensive experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) and frameworks, with the ability to tailor approaches based on project needs.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
