Known for their generous staff treatment and relaxed corporate culture, this is your chance to thrive in an environment that values and supports its team members.Your new roleWorking as a Senior Commercial Underwriter you will;Develop a Go-To-Market strategy that sets the product + service apart.Drive growth by focusing on renewals, new business + endorsements.Manage your own portfolio and work alongside Authorised Rep's and business owners.Network by attending industry events to expand new business opportunities, making valuable connections along the way.Handle complex queries regarding products across a range of issues to ensure acceptable outcomes.Build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to a high and professional standard.Adhere to high quality assurance standards.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have;Knowledge of both Commercial & Farm Packages, Motor Fleet and Commercial wordings.Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Commercial Underwriter or Senior SME Underwriter.Competent knowledge of renewals process.Cert IV or Diploma in General Insurance (would be advantageous).Ability to work alongside Authorised Rep's to build client relationships.A strong attention to detail and excellent stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.Be based on the Eastern seaboard of Australia.What you'll get in returnIf you are successful in this role, you will receive;A competitive salary + super.Fully remote role (but will involve travelling to regional areas - Dubbo, Wagga, Newcastle).Genuine opportunity to be part of a leading regional rural insurer.A warm environment to work in alongside a welcoming team.The chance to continuously develop throughout your career, both locally and nationally.What you need to do nowIf you are interested in this role and feel you have the necessary skills and experience to succeed, click 'Apply Now'.
